Micromax foraying into the shell of the laptop category with the launch of Canvas Lapbook. With the launching of the new category products, the company aims to garner 10 percent market share in the next 12-18 months.
The Micromax said, that the company wants to surmount PC adoption in the country and created the computing ecosystem environment in India by delivering the drive accessibility, productivity at ease and affordability at the mass level.
The availability of the Lapbook will be listed on the Snapdeal from October 9 at Rs.13, 999. This laptop will compete the famous brands like HP, Dell and Lenovo.
Micromax Chief Marketing Officer, Shubhajit Sen, said that, Micromax has always tried to fill the gap between the customers and the company by bringing the best innovative technology products at the affordability level. He also added the Canvas Lapbook, in the line with the PM's Digital India Initiative.

With our entry into the laptop category, we aim to drive the growth of the category and garner a market share of 10 percent in 12-18 months." He further added.
The 11.6- inch display, Lapbook comes with dual speakers. It has the inbuilt storage of 32GB which is further expandable up to 64GB. It is backed by 5000 mAh. The device is powered by an Intel quad core processor and will come pre-loaded with the latest operating system Windows 10.
