Microsoft comes to boom the tablet market with Low Budget Windows Tablet

Microsoft is planning to launch its Windows Tablet with low price. It will launch in the coming months especially for Indian market. The tablet is priced low that is around Rs. 10,000. Director of Windows business group Amrish Goyal said, "We will probably not sell a tablet for Rs 5,000. But yes, we will sell tablets with a price of around Rs 10,000 by middle of this year."

Microsoft's partner Dell and HP made this tablet. Most Indians prefer Android Tablets because of cheap cost and in budget. Microsoft will not cut the license fee from hardware partner of Windows. For creating low cost tablet, Windows may cut down the license fee upto 70% for software. Microsoft may charge $15 as license fee for devices which cost less than $250. Earlier, $50 was charged by the Microsoft for the same devices.

On one side Microsoft is very powerful in the market of Personal computers, while on the other side it is quite low in the section of tablets. Gartner's principal analyst, Vishal Tripathi said "The Windows brand still resonates with people. They use Windows computers in offices. They are comfortable with it and if they have an option to get a Windows tablet at price that is similar to an Android tablet, they will likely pick it."
