Pantel Technologies is a young Information Technology and Communication devices company known for selling innovative Tablet PC(s) under the brand name of Penta T-Pad(s) in various regions. The Indian based company has revealed its new 2-in-1 gadget dubbed the T-Pad WS1001Q that operates on latest Windows operating system i.e., Windows 10 and priced at INR 10,999. The Penta T-Pad WS1001Q is presently available only through e-business website ShopClues.
To enhance the overall sales of the T-Pad, the organization alongside advertising it as a tablet on the e-trade site is also offering a free 3G dongle from Aircel for a time period of six months. It won't be wrong to mention that at this price point, the Penta T-Pad WS1001Q 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet stands as a tough competitor against the Micromax's Canvas Laptab LT777 which was launched at Rs. 17,999 in October last year.
In terms of specifications, this newly launched Penta T-Pad WS 1001Q comes with a detachable keyboard and sports a 10.1-inch IPS display that gives a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.44 GHz quad-core Intel processor (Intel Aton X5-Z8300, Intel Core Z3735F) that gives a clock speed of 1.84Ghz. It offers 2GB of RAM that comes coupled with 32GB of memory storage easily expandable up to 256GB using an external microSD card.
Since the tablet operates on Windows 10, so it comes preloaded with the entire Microsoft Suite of applications inclusive of Microsoft Office, One Drive, MS Outlook, Skype and the remaining ones. The company has taken special care in designing the camera as well since it has equipped the tablet with a rear camera of 5-megapixel coupled with a 2-megapixel on the front side. The 2-in-1 convertible is backed by a 7000mAh battery which is rated to deliver a mixed usage time of 5 to 7 hours. Lastly, apart from being a 3G tablet, it comes featured with many connectivity options that include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and also houses a Mini HDMI port.
