The new iMac has been pulled out from the Apple's storehouse. Now the device has been reached in the shelves to buy with reduced price tag of $1,099. This is the new addition in the series which is priced $200 less than its predecessors. 18 June, 2014 has been noted in the history for releasing the new iMac with lower price tag.
The new iMac inherits sleek design from its siblings and almost identical in design as, it features 21.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080-pixel screen resolution. But, the behaviour and nature it follows, is quite different from its siblings. The device gets 1.4-GHz dual-core Intel i5 chip that has the capability to boost at 2.7 GHz frequency in Turbo mode.
2014 iMac is packed with 8 GB of RAM and Intel's HD Graphics 5000 GPU. It is also blessed with 500-GB hard drive with an upgradable option of larger hard drive or a faster SSD drive. When going through the specs list, it reads that the new one lacks in the specs.
Apple is selling the system from now but you just need to wait for 1 to 3 business days to dispatch your order. The price of the device makes it low cost device and cheaper than all other iMac models including MacBook Pro models. However, it is not cheaper than Mac mini.
By adding extra $200, you can get the new iMac with quad-core 2.7-GHz i5 processor, Intel's top-end integrated GPU, 1-TB hard drive and Intel Iris Pro Graphics.
