Ruggedized Acer C910 Chromebook Expected to Launch in March 2015

It seems, the arrival of Dell Latitude 12 Rugged Extreme has started a new vogue in the marketplace of electronic devices. Whereby, leading companies have become more vigilant and keen to introduce well-built laptops to go neck-to-neck with Dell. At this place, Acer's upcoming C910 Chromebook has come into view with captivating specs.

However, this trend is ongoing in the field of mobiles from a long time, where Sonim XP7 Extreme and Samsung Rugby 4 are the newest in this array. Talking about C910 Chromebook, then reports of OMG Chrome claimed that Taiwanese giant has rolled up its sleeves to bring a rugged laptop with reinforced display and hard-wearing hinges, which can withstand toughest and anomalous workplace.

In terms of display, device will bear a larger screen size of 15.6-inch with two non-glare display options: 15.6-inch HD and 15.6-inch FHD, which produce pixel resolutions of 1366 x 768p & 1920 x 1080p respectively. Glancing at processor, then forthcoming gadget will allow the consumers to choose between two models: 5th generation Intel Broadwell-U Celeron and Core i3 processor variant.

Apparently, Broadwell-based Chromebook will be thinner, less noisy, faster and assimilate better graphics capabilities because Intel Broadwell Chips are less power-hungry processors as well as they don't need fans for internal cooling.

Memory-wise, C910 Chromebook will offer different configurations such as 2GB RAM with 16GB Internal storage and 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. Moreover, all the variants of laptop will confer 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options along with USB 3.0 port and HDMI out port.
