Sony MDR-XB650BT With Extra Bass Launched for INR 7990

When it comes to electronic equipments, Sony is definitely one of the first names that come to the mind of not only gadget and music lovers, but also in the minds of those who are as we say, casual users. Indian outlet Sony India of Japanese maker Sony has now launched another set of new headphones with 'Extra Bass' and having Bluetooth support.

The new headphones dubbed the Sony MDR-XB650BT has been launched in the Indian market at a price tag of INR 7,990. The company is offering the headphones in three color variants namely Black, Blue and Red all available for purchase from the official Sony Center and other major electronic stores across the country.

The company in its official statement also quoted that, "The headphones have been designed specifically to enhance the playback for deep bass. Fitting with an increased contact surface area, it achieves a stable fit that can withstand the punchy and deep bass notes. The ear pads have a soft texture and fit close to the skin, achieving excellent wearing comfort and well-balanced sound. The swivel structure design enables the housing section to be folded flat, making them easy to store and convenient to carry around wherever you go."

In terms of looks and design, the new Sony MDR-XB650BT Extra Bass Bluetooth headphones come with a 30mm driver, a bass booster structure and dedicated Extra Bass diaphragm. The wireless headphones additionally also offer One-touch Bluetooth connection and music playback via NFC technology and is compatible with AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs. The headsets can also deliver up to 30 hours of continuous music playback and can easily be recharged via USB connection. In technical terminology, the headphones deliver a frequency response of 20Hz-20,000Hz, 24ohms impedance, 95dB/mW sensitivity, and carries a weight of approximately 190 grams.

Not just this, the company had also unveiled Concept N headphones that users don't need to plug into their ears and also a prototype of its Interactive Tabletop projector that can turn a surface into a touch-sensitive display at the recently held SXSW conference.
