Samsung and Startup have bought their new tablet computers designed especially for kids. The tablets are full of kid’s related softwares, apps and functions.
Startup Metis Learning launched their kid's tablet "Eddy" at an attractive price of Rs. 9,999 in India. The company claims this tablet to be India's first tablet designed for children. It is powered by 1.6 GHz dual core processor along with 1 GB RAM. It has got 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable upto 32 GB. It has a 7 inch display and 3200 mAh battery. This tablet is good to read books, play piano, solving mathematics puzzle games, etc.
On the other hand Samsung also launched their new Galaxy Tab 3 designed for children. This tab is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. It has got Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It has a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. The onboard memory of this tab is 8 GB which can be expanded upto 32 GB. It houses a 4000 mAh battery, 3 mega pixel rear and 1.3 mega pixel front cameras. Connectivity options available in this tab are Bluetooth and WIFI. Company has placed this tab in a bright yellow and orange colored safety rubber casing which will attract kids and guards the tab at the same time. The option for parental control is also available in this tab which asks for a password after set interval of time. This tab will be made available initially in Korea and later in US, South America, Africa, China, Europe, and South East Asia.
