World's First Liquid Cooled Laptop Launched In India

Asus, a Taiwan-based company announced the launch of the world’s first liquid-cooled laptop in India. The high-end product is named as ‘ROG GX700’ and priced at Rs 4,12,990. It is basically a Gaming laptop, the company has propelled one more laptop along with it dubbed ‘ROG Strix GL502’ which is also a Gaming laptop.



The ‘ROG GX700’ comes with a detachable ROG-exclusive Hydro Overlocking system cooling module. It contains dual 92mm radiators which are capable of cooling over 500W of heat. Users can use either the traditional cooling system or this system as per their requirement and use. The cooling system is attached with an ROG-themed suitcase.


The device is powered by a sixth generation Intel ‘Skylake’ Core i7-6820HK processor with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, that can be further expandable up to 64GB. It flaunts a 17.3-inch 4K UHD (3480x2160 pixel) display with Nvidia G-Sync technology. For the best Graphic experience, the company has used Nvidia GeForce GTX 920 GPU coupled with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM.

The company has touted the laptop as a “limited edition laptop”, and will be available via the company’s official site.


If we talk about ‘ROG Strix GL502’, the device is also a gaming laptop and comes with a 4K UHD screen size of 15.6-inches, Intel Core i7-6800HQ Processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX920M GPU. This model is available via many online and offline retailers starting from Rs 1,27,990.



Both the laptops are Gaming based and will be trying to cover a large part of the gaming laptops in the country says Asus India.
