The Chinese manufacturer has placed an unbeatable victory to the market arena by switching its task from smartphone manufacturing to the Electronics section. The company has recently unveiled the latest Mi TV 3 in the market with 60-inch display to sport 4K display resolution. The latest trend needs everything unique, so to feature the same Xiaomi has come up with the great launch.
The launch has first taken place in China on Monday with the new TV model running on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based MIUI custom ROM. It is fronted with 60-inch LG display with 4K resolution and NTSC 85 percent color gamut. The body cover boasts a diamond-patterned with a full aluminum rim supported with the thickest area to be 36.7mm in broadness and measures 11.6mm at the thinnest point.
The device completes with two different parts, one is the display while the other one is a mainboard. Initially the manufacturer had designed the Mi TV main board for the Mi TV 3, but later combined it with various sections that has three HDMI and two USB ports as well as a VGA, Ethernet, AV in, subwoofer, RF modulator and a Mi Cable port that allows users to connect the main board to the display. Its universal design and port mapping enables the gadget to be used with other TVs, displays and projectors.
The TV has '6M60 independent image processing chip' along with 'MEMC motion compensation', which results in sharp and crisp TV viewing experience. It is powered by an MStar 6A908 chipset that includes a quad-core Cortex A9 CPU bundled with Mali 450 M4 GPU and 2GB RAM. It has an 8GB of internal storage. It further features built-in speakers along with Dolby Audio technology and a full metal body to provide complete viewing experience to the user.
With the Mi TV main board will be available for sale at RMB 999 (approx. Rs. 10,000), the Mi TV 3 that has recently launched in China is quoted with a price tag of RMB 4,999 (approx. Rs. 51,000). Along with it, a Bluetooth voice control remote has also been announced that will be available for RMB 99 (approx. Rs. 1,009). The device is yet to be unveiled in India, with an expectation to launch soon.
