The final judgment has come now in the case of Aarushi Talwar and domestic worker Hemraj Banjhare murder case, who were found murdered at the flat of parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in Noida May 15, 2008. It is a long murder mystery that has been now solved and verdict has come. Both Rajesh and Nupur Talwar found guilty of murdering their daughter and house help Hemraj Banjhare.
It is five and a half years long murder mystery that now has been totally veiled out. The Talwar couple is charged with murder and destruction of evidence. Earlier Rajesh Talwar charged under the section of 203 of the Indian Penal Code for lodging false FIR with Noida Police.
The case was first investigated by Uttar Pradesh Police and then headed to Central Bureau of Investigation. The trial began after 25 May, 2012. The CBI covered the case on the basis of circumstantial evidence against two accused. Rajest and Nupur Talwar both got imprisoned during the investigation and spent around 2 months in jail in 2008 but Rajesh was released because of lack of evidence. Nupur too was arrested for ignoring court orders but released on bail in September.
