WeChat, an instant messaging app has come with an amazing feature which let its users to store lots of images, documents, videos on cloud. The app has added a new feature of 1GB cloud storage to save your best moments, personal or professional documents etc. for free.
Its offering is for its all registered users that can use the cloud storage by accessing the 'Favourite' option (displays on chat screen) to store videos, documents, texts, audios and pictures. Cloud storage gives you the facility to access your data with portability; from anywhere, from any device. This feature blesses you with store lots of data; even your handset doesn't have enough storage.
WeChat is directed by Chinese company Tencent. V.P. of Marketing and Business Development, Nilay Arora said, "The 'Favourite Message with 1GB cloud storage' feature enables users to save their favourite memories in the form of texts, videos and picture format without having to compromise on their device space and, also enables them to access these with just one touch whenever they want."
WeChat came up in India in 2012 and has grown its market day by day with millions of users. This app is compatible with almost all operating systems and available on app stores of iOS, Google, Blackberry and Windows. It is also a big competitor of the most popular messaging app WhatsApp which was currently in news because of its deal with facebook and its regular updations.
