Vodafone Counters Reliance, Announces New Recharge Deals

Reliance communications has brought a revolution in the telecom industry of India by introducing its Jio plans. While other companies are still making plans to compete with this ‘Jio Tsunami’, Vodafone has announced a new 4G recharge scheme to make its dinghy float in the flow. Vodafone has introduced a new First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 244 plan for its new prepaid customers. As per the new plan of this British telecommunication company, users will get 1GB 4G data per day for 70 days with a price tag of Rs 244.

As we have already mentioned, the plan is only available for new customers, under which users will also be allowed to make free unlimited local as well as STD calls within Vodafone network. Notably, the plan will only be valid for 70 days for the new customers and the pricings may also vary according to the region user belongs. The validity of the plan will change from the second recharge.

Old Vodafone users will also not have to worry, as the company has also offered the same benefits with a 56-day validity for Rs 346 only. According to the company the Rs 346 plan offers unlimited voice calling to any network, but we don’t think its a complete truth, as there is a daily cap in it just like data. The plan offers voice calling, which will be limited to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week.

If you take Vodafone’s offer as an attractive one, you might take a look at Reliance Jio’s Rs 309 plan, which offers 1GB 4G data per day that reduces to 128kbps after its completion. Moreover, the Jio plan also offers unlimited voice calls to any network for both local and STD.

Apart from this, Reliance Communications has recently introduced its all new Jio Phone, which is focused on taking over the complete market of feature phones. The company launched the handset to enhance its 4G services for feature phone users across the country.
