The device comes with philanthropy element, which is not only for fitness, but also allows users of GoQii to convert exercise point.
Overall the device is fully Indian from its origin. Founder of this gadget had experienced many other devices and accessories of same kind and functions and then decided to develop GoQii. This device is fitted with customized advice according to your health. This customized advice is offered by the personal coach through audio and video calls and chats.
Whole software has been designed in Mumbai and hardware has been designed in the California and Mumbai. Bands are fabricated in China. It has big names in the list of investors including Dr. Shriram Nene (MD, FACS, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon), husband of Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit; Luke Coutinho ( Author, Nutritionist, & Health Coach), Kendra Markle (Behaviour Change Designer With Stanford Prevention Research Center).
This device is coupled with 'GOQii Experts', 'GOQii Karma', 'GOQii Coach.' It is a band, which has skin-sensitive' materials, motion sensor, automatic wireless syncing through Bluetooth LE (Low energy), and water-resistant construction features. GoQii Karma is used for by collecting Karma points, charities for various organizations. It is now under beta stage for testing, after that, it will launch in UAE, Singapore, UK and US. Its subscription fee is $97 for 6 months and $162 for 12 months.
