Apple, the Cupertino tech giant had launched three Apple iPhones in the previous year namely iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. The American multinational company is planning to unveil three Apple iPhones during this year including a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, a 5.8-inch OLED iPhone (iPhone X 2018) and a 6.5-inch iPhone (iPhone X Plus). However, the leaks and rumors of all upcoming three iPhones have started appearing on the internet from the past few months.
According to KGI securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who is popular for the renders of Apple iPhones recently revealed that the Apple is all set to launch the rumored 6.1-inch LCD iPhone later this year and the company is likely to offer dual- sim options in the upcoming Apple iPhones. The previous leak report suggested that the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone would be available at the low price as compared to previous premium iPhone X costing around $550 (approximately Rs. 36,200).
The upcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone would be placed in between a new 5.8-inch OLED iPhone which is likely to be the successor of iPhone X, dubbed as iPhone X 2018, whereas a larger 6.5-inch iPhone, likely to be dubbed as iPhone X Plus.

In a recent report, Kuo states that the Cupertino- giant, Apple is working upon to render 6.1-inch LCD iPhone in two different variants - one will be equipped with a traditional single SIM setup and another one will come with dual SIM card slots just similar to other smartphone manufacturers are offering in their smartphones.
The company is thinking to offer 4G LTE networks in its dual - SIM variants instead of providing conventional Hybrid connectivity. It is anticipated that upcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be based on the dual-SIM, dual-standby (DSDS) technology which is common these days and the smartphone manufacturers are offering on several dual- sim phones.
As reported by popular leak website, it is speculated that the single-SIM version of rumored 6.1-inch LCD iPhone is likely to costs around between $550 and $650 (roughly Rs. 42,800), whereas dual-SIM variant would be priced between $650 and $750 (roughly Rs. 49,300). It seems that the single-SIM version of the upcoming LCD iPhone would enhance the market share of the company in countries like China and commercial market, whereas the dual-SIM version of LCD iPhones is likely to boost the sales of the company in emerging markets like India.
One another report states that the dual- sim versions of 6.1-inch LCD iPhone have been decided by the company recently and its mass production will commence in three to five weeks after the production of the rumored 5.8-inch OLED iPhones. The previous reports claimed that the production of OLED iPhones would commence sometime in May.
In the previous reports, the company officially announced that 6.1-inch LCD iPhone would be available in an affordable pricing as compared to previous iPhone variants, so it is considered one of the best options in 2018 iPhone portfolio. It seems that the price of the upcoming LCD iPhone is nearly almost half $999 as compared to the iPhone X.
Kuo estimated that the Cupertino- tech giant would sell nearly between 100 million and 120 million units of the LCD iPhone during the third quarter of 2018 as well as 2019.
