TCL Corporation, the Chinese electronics company has showcased a duo of smartphones, titled as Alcatel 1C (2019) and Alcatel 1X (2019) at an event in Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Both of the devices come with entry-level specifications which will go on sale in multiple regions across the globe in the first quarter of 2019. The recently launched Alcatel 1C (2019) and Alcatel 1X (2019) are the successors of Alcatel 1X and Alcatel 1C 2018 models respectively.
The Alcatel 1x (2019) costs $120 (around Rs. 8,500). It will be available in two color options including Pebble Blue and Pebble Black. On another hand, the Alcatel 1c (2019) has been priced at $70 (roughly Rs. 5,000) which will be available in Enamel Blue and Volcano Black color options.
As far as specifications are considered, the Alcatel 1X (2019) features a 5.5-inch HD+ display that offers the screen resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6739 SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB via microSD card. At the software front, the budget segment Alcatel 1X (2019) runs on Android 8.1 Oreo as of now there is no information when it would receive Android Pie software update.

For the photography purpose, 1X (2019) comes with dual camera sensors on the rear panel that consists 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor. Up front, there is a 5MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
Under the hood, the Alcatel 1X (2019) packs a 3,000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver up to 420 hours of standby time on 4G networks. For the connectivity options, the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, VoWiFi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Micro-USB, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The dimensions and weight of 1X (2019) are 146.35x68.8x8.3mm and 130 grams respectively.
Now moving to the Alcatel 1C 2019 comes with a 5-inch display that offers 18:9 aspect ratio and 480×960 pixels resolution. It is embedded with a Spreadtrum SC7731 processor. For storing content, the company has offered 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM which supports micro SD card up to up to 32GB. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) Operating System so the users do not face any difficulties in performing basic tasks.
The entry-level Alcatel 1C 2019 smartphone features a single 5MP rear sensor with an aperture of (f/2.4). The rear camera set up comes with features such as HDR, night mode and panorama among others for capturing beautiful photos. For selfies and video calling, there is a 2MP front-facing camera.
The Alcatel 1C 2019 is armed with a 2,000 mAh battery which renders up to 28 hours of standby time on the 3G network, claims company. All of the standard connectivity features are available on the Alcatel 1C 2019 but fingerprint sensor is missing on it. The dimensions of the device are 136.6x65.3x9.95mm and weight is 148 grams.
