Alcatel, Finnish- based smartphone manufacturer has launched a trio of smartphones - Alcatel 3 (2019), Alcatel 3L, and Alcatel 1S one day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona. All these smartphones come with a FullView Display along with cut-out notch. The newly launched Alcatel smartphones have been equipped with Google lens integration along with AR emojis. All of them having a facial unlock feature which allows users to unlock the device.
The Alcatel 3 (2019) comes with a starting price of EUR 159 (roughly Rs 12,800) for the base 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model and goes up to 189 (roughly Rs 15,200) for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model. It has been launched in two color options including Gradient Black Blue and Gradient Blue Purple.
On the other hand, The Alcatel 3L costs EUR 139 (roughly Rs 12,800) which the buyers can choose among Anthracite Black and Metallic Blue colour options.
Lastly, the Alcatel 1S has been priced at EUR 109 (roughly Rs. 8,800). It is cheaper than the other Alcatel offerings. It is available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose colour options.
The Alcatel 3 (2019), Alcatel 3L, and Alcatel 1S will be available for purchase from the second quarter of this year in selected markets, said Alcatel.
The Alcatel 3 (2019) flaunts a 5.9-inch HD+ Super FullView Display that offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 720x1560 pixels. Inside there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB internal storage that can be expanded (up to 128GB) via microSD card.
For the photography purpose, the Alcatel 3 (2019) comes with dual rear sensors consist of a 13MP primary sensor (interpolated to 16MP) and a 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper (interpolated to 13MP) with an aperture of f/2.0.
The Alcatel 3 (2019) is capable to recognize up to 21 different scenarios It is equipped with Google Lens integration and AI Imaging Scene Detection. For the security purpose, it has facial unlock feature which allows users to unlock the device. The Alcatel 3 (2019) has a vast of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Alcatel 3 (2019) is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light, fingerprint sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3,500mAh battery which claims rated to render 18 hours of talk time or 900 hours of standby time only on a single charge.
Most of the specifications of the Alcatel 3L are similar to the Alcatel 3 (2019) with minor differences as the former comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.

The Alcatel 1S flaunts a 5.5-inch HD+ FullView Display along with 720x1440 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. At the software front, the new Alcatel offering runs on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Under the hood, it is embedded with an octa-core Unisoc Spreadtrum SC9863A coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Alcatel 1S comes with dual rear camera consisting of a 13MP primary sensor (interpolated to 16 MPl) with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.8. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone gets a 5MP front-facing camera (interpolated to 8 MP) with an aperture of f/2.2.
For the connectivity purpose, the Alcatel 1S gets 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the Alcatel 1S include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 3,060 mAh battery which claims to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time or 600 hours of standby time on 4G network on a single charge.
Alongside three new smartphones, Alcatel has also unveiled the new tablet, dubbed as Alcatel 3T 10. It comes with a starting price at EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 14,400). The tablet with the audio station is said to come with a price tag of EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 18,400).

The Alcatel 3T 10 Tablet features a 10-inch HD+ display along with capacitive touch screen buttons, 1280x800 pixels resolution, quad-core MediaTek MT8765B SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to up to 128GB) via microSD card and Android 9.0 Pie OS.
For the photography purpose, the Alcatel 3T 10 comes with a single 2MP (interpolated to 5MP) rear camera featuring an aperture of f/2.8, 1/5-inch sensor size with 1.65-micron pixels. The tablet has the same camera set up on the front panel. The company reported that the tablet is capable to provide DSP voice recognition at a distance of up to 3 meters.
The Alcatel 3T 10 supports single-SIM (Nano), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS for the connectivity purpose. It packs a 4,080mAh battery which is touted to render up to 670 hours of standby time and 4.5 hours of video playback time, said Alcatel
