AOC E40 Unlatched for Indian Market as Entry-Level Smartphone

The Taiwanese computer display maker AOC has come to India and announced its smartphone E40 as an entry-level device at the price of Rs. 5,299. It seems like every outsider love to try their luck in our country, seeing the huge market of smartphones over here. Well, the company has posted a tweet on its official twitter account, but you will find no dates for the availability in market.

AOC E40 is a dual SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It has a 4-inch display that provides fine screen output with WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution. This handset is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor which is not the good enough to boast performance, but can be considered as adequate looking at the price point. ARM Mali-400 GPU and 512MB of RAM work altogether to boast the performance by smooth multitasking.

This device has 4GB built-in storage that can further be expanded through microSD card upto 32GB. On imaging front, the AOC E40 comes equipped with 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front end, a 0.3-megapixel camera is also positioned for video calling. It comes in two color options – White and Black. It is backed by a 1600mAh battery which promises upto 13 hours of talk time on 3G network. This handset supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio for connectivity purpose.

Earlier, the tech company had introduced AOC M601 which is a 6-inch large phablet with Android KitKat support. It is available at Rs. 8,390 with average features.
