Apple, the leading brand of electronic gadgets manufacturing has announced last Friday that it will offer free replacement of broken power buttons for its iPhone 5 users. Apple has tried to enhance the trust in its iPhone users by introducing this free service of repairing devices which have imperfect power button. For taking the benefit of it, affected users will have to enter their device's serial number in Apple’s support website and then, Apple will remake your device with new power button.
Usually, a low amount of users are affected by the broken sleep or wake button so it will cost low for the company to repair the device free of cost. Company had already come up with free iPhone case in year 2010. The reason behind distributing free iPhone case to its users was defective antenna. Company on its website says, "Apple will replace the sleep/wake button mechanism, free of charge, on iPhone 5 models that exhibit this issue and have a qualifying serial number."
The service will turn into effect outside the US from May 2, 2014 and for repairing the devices, users will have to send their iPhones to company's retail/dealer's stores.
