Asus Unveils ZenPad C 7.0 with MediaTek Chipset at Rs 7,999

Taiwanese multinational mobile electronics and computer hardware maker, Asus, after encountering a remarkable response from its ZenPad series, has announced its refreshed ZenPad C 7.0 in the country on Monday. It is exclusively available on Snapdeal.

The company is already selling similar tablet, but at a quite high price. The new version in the ZenPad series comes with MediaTek quad-core processor inside and also costs Rs. 7,999 instead of Rs. 8,999 for the Intel version, which is presently available at Flipkart.

Looks-wise, it is pretty identical to its predecessor. The new ZenPad C 7.0 sports 7-inch Super Bright IPS panel (1024x600 resolution) and has a pixel density of 170 ppi. Apart from this, it offers 170 degree viewing angle, with 71 percent screen to body ratio. It can be defined as the surface, which the screen represents when compared to the whole device. It also features an AGC glass with 20NM anti-finger coating, 10 finger multi-touch and Zen motion support touch gesture.

Processing has been done by the new MediaTek Chipset. The MT8382V/W quad-core processor with ARM Cortex-A7 MP Core CPU operating at 1.3 GHz is the new idea to support 3D graphics. In terms of camera, it features a 5 mega-pixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and VCM Auto-Focus while the rear gets 0.3 MP unit. HD videos in 720p are recorded at the rate of 30 frames per second. Other bits are the low light mode, zero shuttle lag for taking brighter snaps without any time delay. The tablet runs Android OS Lollipop with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. 64GB expandable support is there via MicroSD card. The battery is backed by 3450 mAh.

The ZenPad C 7.0 is exclusively on sale via Snapdeal with two color options- Obsidian Black and Pearl White.
