Asus has finally launched the Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2 in Brazil. Both the smartphones are the first devices from the company which are developed by the Asus Brazil team and are also the first to carry Qualcomm Snapdragon SiP 1 system-in-package processors under the hood.
In February, the chip maker of San Diego announced that they will associate with the USI (Universal Scientific Industrial) for the development of the new semiconductor plant in Sao Paulo Brazil and these two smartphones are the first to get these chipsets.
If seen the designs and specifications, both the devices do not have many differences. So given below are the specifications of both the smartphones:-
The Zenfone Max Shot carries a price sticker of BRL 1,349 which is approx Rs 24,500 in terms of the Indian Currency. The Zenfone Max Plus M2 holds a price tag of BRL 1,299 i.e. roughly Rs 23,500.
The Asus Zenfone Max Shot flaunts a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display along with a dewdrop-style notch at the front. In terms of the storage, the smartphone comes in two variants i.e. 3GB and 5GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card slot.
In terms of the optics, the Asus Zenfone Max Shot at the back carries triple camera setup which includes a 12-megapixel regular, 8-megapixel wide-angle and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the smartphone houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone has dual SIM slot.
Under the hood, the smartphone holds new SiP processors which is same as Snapdragon 450 and uses the same octa-core configuration with clock speed of 1.8GHz and along with Adreno 506 GPU. The device packs a capacity of 4,000mAh. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which will be upgraded to Android 9 Pie in the coming future.

In terms of the optics, the Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 at the back holds dual camera setup i.e. a 12-megapixel and a 5-megapixel along with a flash. At the front, the smartphone carries an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone has dual SIM slot.
