BlackBerry Rolling Out Passport Smartphone on Sept 24 at Approx Rs. 36,500

After a lot of buzz, now the hotly-anticipated blackberry Passport smartphone has received the price tag of $599 that is approximately Rs. 36,500. The CEO of the firm, John Chen has publicized that the handset will hit the shelves of US retail stores without any contract. Notably, the company has spilled the beans about its September 24 launching event, which will be held in Dubai, Toronto and London. However, the gadget is expected to see the light of other locations within two weeks, where the prices may vary in different territories due to local taxes.

In particular, the most highlighted part of this Square-Shaped Smartphone is the assimilation of high-end features at a reasonable cost. Notably, some existing most favored devices like Apple iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 have been priced at $650, which is more than blackberry's new scion. Manifestly, it bears a 4.5-inch screen size that billing itself to render a more entire picture view. It is integrated with 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor that confers a high speed of performance.

Here, it is worth to mention that the smartphone is also said to be exhibited in Indian marketplace from the September 29. As per the company, BlackBerry OS 10.3- equipped device has been specially designed for business professionals. Under the hood, firm's latest effort offers physical keyboard along with 3450mAh battery, which is quoted to provide a long lifespan of 36 hours.

As of now, the smartphone space has already relished the zest of wider phones like HTC One M8, Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus. Though, Passport Smartphone is cheaper than these flagships, but it might be a little tough to steer away the consumers from these popular phones.
