By Assimilating Some LG G2-like Features, LG G2 Lite Rolled Out

A new Android KitKat based smartphone: G2 Lite has been publicized by LG to dominate the world of mid-range mobile phones. Notably, this South Korean company has cataloged the device on its Brazilian website, but the pricing and availability details are yet-to-be listed. However, the reports of G4forGames are asserting that device is procurable to buy in Brazil via retail stores at roughly $245.

Taking a glance at the specs of this newly launched handset, which has been said as a variant of LG G2 mini. Here, the gadget is decked with some high-class software features such as rear mounted buttons, Knock Code and Quick Selfies, which have been derived from firm's flagship device: LG G2.

In terms of performance, the handheld is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor and fueled by a 1820 mAh battery, which makes the device quite promising. It bears a 4.5-inch IPS display that offers a pixel density of 207ppi and pixel resolution of 480x800p.

Talking about the memory, then G2 Lite confers 1GB RAM along with 4GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. At an economical value, the mobile phone bestows an 8-megapixel rear camera alongside a selfie snapper of 0.3-megapixel. Apart from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options, this dual-SIM supported handheld provides quad-band 2G as well as 3G connectivity functionality.

However, the new scion of LG has not received any official announcement regarding its arrival in Indian marketplace. If the device will be launched with a competitive price tag under sub-Rs. 15000 category, then Xiaomi Mi3 and Motorola Moto G (Gen 2) will be the strongest opponent for G2 Lite.
