Here is a big news for the consumers that own Samsung's flagship device, Galaxy S5 because Android L may hit the smartphone sooner. As per the reports of Sammobile, the handset is expected to receive Google's latest operating system before the year is out. Here, it has been claimed that the people who are Anxious for this upcoming OS might get their hands on it by the end of November or early December.
The tipster has posted a 8.5-minutes-long video, which is clearly showing that Galaxy S5 running an Android L test build along with firm's new TouchWiz UI. However, the company is a late entrant in this segment because Motorola has already announced about the inclusion of latest mobile operating system in Moto X and Moto G.
At this place, it seems worth to spill the beans about the changes to the Android platform than previous upgrades. Due to adoption of Android L, S5 have been spotted with a new White theme instead of blue theme, which had been using by the brand since the inception of Galaxy S2. According to the source, the OS will bring modernized apps for Messages, Memo, Clock and Dialer.
To get more Android users, a clipboard tool has been appended to store screenshots and copied text. Along with rich animations to offer smoother transitions between apps, the OS will capacitate the user to view the notifications even in the running mode of apps. In terms of Performance, Android L uses new ART runtime, so it has been asserted to be quicker and functional and more lag-free than KitKat.
As of now, Galaxy S5 is yet to receive any official announcement from Samsung. Also, the overall performance will be disclosed after the rollout of Android L in this flagship smartphone. Apparently, Google itself in rumors due to launch of its next Nexus X smartphone and tablet, which has been averred to be the first devices to get Android L update in this year.
