After launching of two iPhones, 5S and 5C Apple has got a replacement for its last year's launch iPhone 5 which is now discontinued. People will be able to buy this handset for sometime in India but here are some details to remove your confusion that which one you should buy to make a right choice. 5C is considered as a cheapest phone in the series but carrying almost similar features.
Design - iPhone 5C will be available with tangy colors as peach, green, blue, white and yellow while iPhone 5 was launched with beautiful sleek design and limited colors option. 5 was more attractive in terms of body and look but 5C may also attract you with vibrating color options along with matching back covers.
Display, OS and Processor - Both phones are available with 4-inch of screen with IPS display and 1136x640 pixel resolution. Same processor and iOS7 operating system with A6 chip-set are available in both the devices.
Durability - 5C has sturdy body and it can't be damaged easily there is a chance in 5 to get dents on aluminum glass body if it is dropped on floor. 5C has polycarbonate touting which makes it tough to get damaged.
Camera - Some improvements are there in iPhone 5C as Backlight Illumination Sensor (BIS) for better quality images in low light. 1.2MP front snapper also gets BIS technique while sensor, other elements and 8MP quality of rear camera are same in both the handsets.
Battery - Battery life of iPhone 5 is around 225 hours while 5C will be available with battery back-up of 250 hours. Internet browsing on 3G and 4G may extend its battery consumption.
Storage and Price - Newly launched phone is available in memory options of 16, 32GB while iPhone comes in three options 16, 32 and 64GB with price Rs. 44,500 Rs. 52,500 and Rs. 59,500 respectively. 5C will be available between the range of Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40000.
