Coolpad has launched another variant of its Note 3 smartphone series in India, the Coolpad Note 3 Plus. The handset has been priced at Rs. 8,999, and the cell phone bears a full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) display rather than the HD (720x1280 pixel) resolution of its former smartphones.
The Coolpad Note 3 Plus will beavailable to be purchased through Amazon India on May 13 in White and Gold color variations. To review, the Coolpad Note 3 was dispatched in October a year ago at the same cost, Rs. 8,999, however recently got reduced to Rs. 8,499, clearly due to the launch of the Coolpad Note 3 Plus variant. It must be noted that the company had launched the Coolpad Note 3 Lite, in January.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Coolpad Note 3 Plus bears a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, and has been powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 SoC, combined with 3GB of RAM. The double SIM handset (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM) bears a 13-megapixel back camera, and a 5-megapixel camera in front and also has a unique fingerprint sensor.
The Note 3 Plus accompanies 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be extended by means of microSD card (up to 64GB). It keeps running on a 3000mAh battery, measures 151x77x9.3mm and weighs marginally more than the Coolpad Note 3 at 168 grams.
The connectivity alternatives on the Coolpad Note 3 Plus incorporate Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, 3G, 4G (with backing for Indian LTE band). Sensors on board incorporate proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
