Coolpad, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, on Monday has announced that the company will start selling its smartphone via offline retailers. The company also mentioned that they have stepped in the offline race with an aim to cover 10 states along with a sales of one million devices by 2017.
Syed Tajuddin said, “Since the launch of Coolpad in India, we have sold more than one million smartphones and are confident that the offline presence will contribute majorly to our growth trajectory in India for 2017.” The company reportedly has planned to open 5,000 core shops and 10,000 retail shops by 2017.
The recently launched Note 3S will now also be available via offline retailers, which is currently exclusively available via Amazon India. The Coolpad Note 3S is blessed with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720X1080 pixels along with a 2.5D screen protection. Furthermore, the handset is powered by a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Android smartphone offers 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
Concerning the optical part of the handset, the Dual-SIM smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera is also provided by the company with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture for selfie enthusiasts. The GSM handset is backed up by a 2500mAh battery, which is claimed to provide 200 hours of standby and runs on Android 6.0 based Cool UI 8.0. Connectivity options on the board include Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G VoLTE.
