Facebook has announced its messenger app for iPad. As the several apps has been come for iOS devices. To make hits in the list of iPad users, the famous social networking company has decided to bring its dedicated Messenger application for iPad users. Now people can also enjoy the app by chatting with friends on their iPads.
The app appears in the multi-window pattern. You can call it as a feature of the app. On the left side, there is a list of chat contacts and on the right side, it shows currently active chats. The app is available to download from Apple’s app store and compatible with iOS 7 or above.
The Facebook Messenger app already comes bundled with line stickers, VoIP calling and easy group chat navigation apps. However, there is a catch, tap-and-hold quick video recording is not present in it and you can also not be able to enjoy the split-screen selfie camera feature.
If users have both Facebook app and Messenger app, then Facebook app’s messenger section will directly send you to the separate Messenger app for chatting. Adding the service to iPad devices, Facebook may gain more users and captivate more market of messaging. Few features which are not provided by the company in app will be introduced later updates.
Earlier the company had launched Snapchat like messaging app Slingshot which can be downloaded from Google Play and iTune and recently has come for US market.
