Fairphone 2 with Modular Architecture Came Against Google Project Ara

Well, this quest of internet giant is still under development stage, but now a Netherlands based corporation: Fairphone has taken a forward step to knockdown Google and publicized its avant-garde second-generation handheld decked with such capability.

The new quest of this Dutch company has simply been named as Fairphone 2, which is all set to revolutionize this booming world of technology and science. Based on modular architecture fairly similar to Project Ara, this upcoming gadget will allow the users to repair and replace its broken components with ease because each of the units are self-contained. So, folks will not need to ditch their lovable phone prematurely and requirement of paying a hefty amount on the repairing will also be reduced, sounds quite amazing!

In an official blog post, the Chief Technology Officer of firm: Olivier Hebert stated "We chose not to make the phone completely sealed, as this type of architecture conflicted with our other design ambitions, especially in terms of the ability to open and repair the device." He also added that they developed mobile phone to make the basic maintenance on phones fast and easy for anyone as well as capacitate them in bringing back the full functionality without professional support.

Apart from the construction and designing, if we will move towards the specification, then prototype Fairphone 2 comprises eye-catching internal hardware to entice the tech-savvy young generation. Featuring a rubberized rear panel, it bears a 5-inch Full HD LCD display and loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Paired with dual SIM card slots, mobile accommodates a long-lasting 2420mAh removable battery. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and offers 4G LTE connectivity.

The inclusion of an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM (Expandable via microSD card) is also the trump card of gadget. Most importantly, Google is far away to bring its modular smartphone for general public, but Fairphone 2 been announced to hit the marketplace of European countries initially, where it will carry a price tag of EUR 525 (Roughly Rs. 37, 900), says Engadget. And, prospective buyers will be able to pre-book this peerless smartphone from this summer.
