Finally, HTC Gave a Lowdown on Selfie-King, Desire Eye

In the downpour of Selfie-Smartphones, HTC has given a ruler to this globally growing segment that is named as Desire Eye. Due to the inclusion of extravagant features and specs, the new scion of Desire family has been in rumors from a while ago. It has been envisaged to be arriving as the most catchy handheld among selfie-loving crowd.

Diving into this new eye-popping smartphone of HTC, where the most highlighted part of the device is its 13MP front-facing camera with dual LED flash. To swallow up the crown of best selfie, it is loaded with auto-focus plus zoom capabilities, BSI sensor and f/2.2, 22mm wide-angle lens. It will also capture your stills via a 13MP rear sensor, which has same caliber apart from a f/2.0, 28mm lens.

To be a perfect model with a unique face, it provides camera-centric apps such as Eye Experience and new Zoe. The device also renders  more attributes on this front like Screen Share, Split Capture, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie and Crop Me. Here, Zoe is a video-editing tool of the firm that is expected to be launched for other Android and even iOS-based device later this year.

Apart from imaging, the Android 4.4 KitKat-equipped gadget is arrayed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which was previously spoofed as 32GB of built-in memory. The internal storage can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, it flaunts LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC options that makes it much better than most of the Desire lineup's members.

The handheld is identical to brand's flagship device: One (E8) with the assimilation of IPX7 certification for water resistance. As we have seen earlier, the mobile bestows a 5.2-inch full-HD LCD display alongside a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. According to HTC, along with a 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm scale, Desire eye will be commenced as an AT&T-exclusive. And, it is slated for mobile retail stores of EMEA, Asia and US, but the availability and pricing details are still yet-to-be disclosed.
