Eventually, Verizon has made possible the Advanced Calling feature for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Hither, due to lots of changes in Apple’s new Phone, now it is possible to place a call while using data in an app. Apparently, this America based broadband and telecommunications company has enabled the Voice over LTE or VoLTE that other carriers have had on iPhone for years such as AT&T.
Now, the subscribers of iPhone 6 are able to tattle on the phone, while browsing the data from another app. However, simultaneous voice and data is possible for Verizon's 4G LTE network over other handsets like Samsung Galaxy S III. Here, a question comes in mind that why had Apple 5S been prevented from this Advanced Calling feature of Verizon till now? Because of some hardware as well as CDMA limitations, the device was not able to handle data activity over the cellular network at the same time.
As per the spokeswoman of Apple, iPhone 5 supports simultaneous voice transmissions and data on GSM-based 3G as well as LTE networks. But, it is not congruent for CDMA networks yet. Besides all, Verizon 4G LTE smartphones will let you stay on a phone call while looking up something on web, which was a while ago only AT&T's iPhone customers had.
As of now, along with iPhone 6 the new attribute of Verozon has been also introduced for two Android phones: Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G2. According to this telecommunications firm, this new feature has been added to provide a higher-quality of calls along side a better browsing experience at the same time.
