Freedom 251 2nd Phase: Ready To Deliver 65,000 Units

To complete the promise and to regain its trust in the million of victimized Indian hearts, Ringing Bells has finally begun with the second phase of dispatch for Freedom 251 smartphone. The Indian organization will convey 65,000 units of the Rs 251 smartphone. Ringing Bells, which claims to have gotten 7.5 crore registrations for Freedom 251 from around 18 states in India, began with conveying 5,000 units in the first stage. “We have got over 2.8 crore registrations from UP and close to 2 crores from Bihar,” said Ringing Bells CEO Mohit Goel. Users who booked Freedom 251 will need to pay money on delivery.

Earlier before the first phase, the Freedom 251 received too many controversies. But the maker of the smartphone, Ringing Bell showed its caliber to deliver the smartphone with the same price of Rs. 251. The company says it began the deliveries with West Bengal, Haryana, Himachal, Bihar, Uttarakhand, New Delhi, Punjab, J&K, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. “We started the process of lottery a few days back, and now are dispatching the units to the people. We are elated with the response that we have got for the delivered units. It gives us immense pleasure when we see the satisfied reactions of people who got more than they wished for in terms of quality of our low-cost product,” said spokesperson of Ringing Bells.

Ringing Bells Freedom 251 flaunts a 4-inch QHD IPS display. It is fueled by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, combined with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. The handset is backed by a 1,450 mAh. For the optics, the smartphone includes a 3.2MP camera on the back panel and 0.3MP front-camera. The smartphone is touted as the World’s Cheapest Smartphone with dual SIM support.

Ringing Bells said it will hold a fortunate draw for giving away Freedom 251 smartphone. Clarifying how the lucky draw will function, Goel said: "“We will give away 10,000 units in every state. We decided to hold a lucky draw because many people had registered for multiple phones. We want to bring it down to one phone per person.”

Ringing Bells had before said they got huge registrations from across India. Goel affirmed the company could conceivably proceed with the delivery of 2 lakh units they guaranteed. Ringing Bells is searching for support from the government to complete the delivery of 7.5 crore units of Freedom 251.
