After many complaints registered mostly by users in the US, the South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has notified that it is working to fix the problem of camera freezing on its latest pen-focused flagship “Galaxy Note 9”. Many users wrote about the problem on Samsung’s official forums according to which the camera “froze” while clicking pictures and while taking videos using the “Galaxy Note 9” phone.
A tech website reported that "A moderator on Samsung\'s US forums has confirmed that an update is coming out to specifically fix the camera freezing issue". As per the report, the issue only affects the variant which contains Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which was made available in the US and other markets. The report added, "\'Galaxy Note 9\' owners in the US have reported that the camera also freezes up in apps that use the camera -- it would just throw up a \'camera failed\' warning".

However, the company has not yet revealed the release date of the new update. The mobile was launched in August in two variants - 128GB which costs RS 67,900 and 512GB which costs Rs 84,900 in India. The 6.4-inch Note 9 smartphone comes with a 12MP + 12MP dual camera system with dual optical image stabilisation (OIS) at the rear with two-times more powerful optical zoom and up to 10-times powerful digital zoom with an 8MP front sensor.
