Apparently, the arrival of a big-battery smartphone from Gionee, called Marathon M5 has already been confirmed by Certification Agency: TENAA and corporation had also released a teaser image of its next-iteration in last month. And now this hotly-anticipated gadget has made an official debut finally along with its camera-centric sibling: Elife E8 at a dedicated event held in Beijing.
As we had mentioned in an earlier report, Chinese mobile maker has adopted dual battery design for this smartphone in order to rule over the array of battery-champ smartphones. Articulately, in a 8.5mm thick body, mobile accommodates dual Polymer lithium ion storage cells of 3010mAh capacity, so basically it has biggest ever battery capacity of 6020mAh.
At this place, phone is decked with fast charge technology, whereby users will get a talk time of two hours 26 minutes just in 5-minute of charging. Loaded with Amigo OS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, it comprises three Amigo customized power-saving mode for power consumption management. Apart from battery, new member of Gionee Marathon series is packed with a 64-bit quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor and compatible with 4G LTE networks.
Touching the subject of memory, long-rumored Marathon M5 is armed with 2GB RAM alongside 16GB of internal memory, which can be extended up to 128GB by using a microSD card. Featuring a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, handset renders a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280p. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

This dual SIM supported smartphone has 152mm × 76mm × 8.5mm dimension and weighing of 214 grams. Furthermore, Chinese website of Gionee suggests that gadget will hit the marketplace of home country with a price tag of CNY 2,299 on June 25 as well as it has been mentioned in a specs catalog that handheld will be available in Noble White, Glory Gold and Black Gentleman color options.
