Alcatel Onetouch recently added two new tech products in its family. The company added GO PLAY and GO WATCH in its list of electronic items. The launch was made in the ongoing IFA 2015 event commencing in Berlin. Out of these two products, GO PLAY is a smart-phone, whereas GO WATCH is a wearable. To make the smart-phone a point of attraction, it has been made waterproof. Its water and dust proof construction has made the handset capably enough to be easily used in outdoor. Not only this, the device is also given a tougher shell as it can bear a drop from 1.5 meters without any damages. Apart from this, the phone has also been supplemented with Periscope, Vine and Zello which allows you to live-stream your activities to the masses.
Digging out its specifications, this Android Lollipop based phone is equipped with 5.0 inch TFT display. For better performance, it is powered with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410. 8GB internal memory is also in-build with 1GB of RAM. It also sports 8MP auto-focus rear camera and 5MP front shooter. The device is backed-up with 2500mAh battery. As per its availability is concerned, the GO PLAY will be available in 8 color options with similar colored headsets.
Moving onto GO WATCH, it is running a proprietary operating system, but the company has made it compatible to run with Android and iOS devices in order to show notifications and messages. In addition to this common trait, the watch is featured with a GO button that provoke an “emotion pulse measurement” that develops an emotional graphic using heart rate sensor and accelerator. A 225mAh battery is embedded within the gadget.
