HMD Global, the company who hold License of Nokia brands for phones and tablets, has sent out invites for an event in India on October 31, exactly where the company is expected to reveal new devices for the country. The event is expected to launch the Nokia 7, and the launch event in India could be for this new smartphone. All it says is, "HMD Global invites you to an exclusive gathering to unveil the next milestone for Nokia phones,".
The Nokia 7, the handset comes with flagship-like features at roughly half the price of Nokia 8. Among the highlights of the handset are the 7000 series aluminium body and Corning Gorilla Glass on the back panel.

The new Nokia 7 sports 5.2 inch full HD display that’s kept on by a 3000mAh battery. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 630 SoC and paired with 4 or 6 GB RAM. In terms of storage, there is 64GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it has 16 MP rear camera and for the selfie and video chat the new handset features with 5MP front camera. HMD Global promised at the global launch that the Nokia 7 will be upgradable to the Android 8.0 Oreo. It is expected to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
