Honor 20 series, a complete package of three smartphones-Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i and Honor 20 has been introduced in the Indian smartphone industry today. To recall, Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei that is a China-based telecommunications giant. Huawei launched Honor 20 series at the time when its collaboration with Google’s Android operating system can be ended any time soon. While it won\'t affect the services of existing Huawei and Honor phones. However, with the upcoming devices, we could witness any control over the use of Google Play Store, Google Services and non-open source parts of Android in the U.S. as a part of the ban.
The Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i and Honor 20 are first smartphones from Huawei in India. Wherein the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro Smartphones are the top variants which come packed with features such as hole punch selfie cameras, quad rear camera configuration, HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, and Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1. While the Honor 20i is mid-variant which comes blessed with attributes like HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC, Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0, a water drop-style notch and triple rear cameras. It can be contemplated as earlier launched Honor 20 lite smartphone as it has sorts of similarity in terms of provided features.
As per the released pricing from Honor, the Honor 20 is priced at INR 32,999 for one and only 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. While the Honor 20 will cost you INR 39,999 for the sole variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Honor 20i will set you back at INR 14,999 for the 4GB RAM +128 storage variant.
As the company confirmed the Honor 20 smartphone’s sale will commence from June 25 on Flipkart while the Honor 20i will be available through offline retail stores and on Flipkart as well from June 18. However, there is no official word from the company as of now, that when will the Honor 20 will go on sale. Besides, they are quoted to available “Very Soon”.
If the colour options of these three Honor smartphones are considered, the Honor 20 Pro will be put on sale only in a single colour trim-Phantom Blue. The Honor 20 will give a chance to opt from Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colour schemes. There will be multiple choices of Gradient Red, Gradient Blue, and Magic Night Black colours for the Honor 20i.
The launch offers for Honor 20 series smartphones consist of no-cost EMI, INR 2,200 cashback from Reliance Jio and up to 2.2TB data.
Honor 20i is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on Top. It features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ All-View display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. There is a placement of a hole-punch selfie camera on the leftmost corner of the display. Coupled with 6GB of RAM, the Honor 20 is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC processor.

On the camera front, it gets a quad camera set up at the rear which consists of a 48-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 lens as a primary unit, a 16-MP sensor as a secondary bit with a 117-degree super-wide-angle lens featuring an f/2.2 aperture, a 2--megapixel depth-assisting sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens.
At the front end, the camera setup for selfies includes a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens and 3D Portrait Lighting support. In addition to this, an array of camera features such as AI Camera, AI Ultra Clarity mode, and AI Color mode, are also provided from the company.

In terms of connectivity, the Honor 20 Pro features similar options of the Honor 20. Dimensionally, it measures 154.60mm in length, 73.97mm in width and 8.44mm in height with a weight of 182grams.
As well as the Honor 20i is also a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone with a 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. It propels on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0.1 on top and powered by octa-core Kirin 710 SoC processor in association with the Mali G51MP4 GPU and up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. For an improved gaming experience, the phone has been furnished with the GPU Turbo 2.0 feature.
