Honor 5C is expected to get launch in India on June 22. Honor brand is the subsidiary of Huawei, the Chinese smartphone giant. Huawei has already sent invites to media for the launch event. Earlier, the phone got launched in China this April in two variants- 3G version, which was priced at CNY 899 ( Rs. 9,000 appx.) and 4G version of CNY 999 (Rs. 10,250 appx.). It is expected that company will launch its 4G model in India.

On the Tech front, the Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS LCD display. It measures 147.1x73.8x8.3mm and weighs 156 grams. It is a dual-SIM smartphone, support Micro-SIM cards and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system. It is powered by a Huawei's home-brewed HiSilicon Kirin 650 octa-core processor (clocked at 4x Cortex A53 at 1.7GHz + 4x Cortex A53 at 2GHz). It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of built-in memory which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
The imaging portions of the phone include, Honor 5C flaunts a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash,which is capable of recording 1080p videos. Its front camera is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture lens. The GSM-based handset is also featuring a fingerprint sensor.
The connectivity options of Honor 5C include 3G, 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The smartphone has a Micro-USB charging port and is backed by a 3,100mAh battery. Huawei claims that the handset supports LTE Cat. 6 and can download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps.
