Huawei, the well known chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has now come up with its new flagship smartphone dubbed as Mate 9 Pro in China. As the name suggests, it is an upgraded version of company’s recently launched Mate 9 smartphone. The new handset will hit the market in Space Grey, Mocha Brown, Champagne Gold, Ceramic White and Moonlight Silver colour variants.
According to some reports from the launch, the Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch QHD curved AMOLED display of resolution 1440X2560 pixels, which is supposed to be the biggest difference between Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and runs company’s Emotion UI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. A fingerprint sensor is also embedded at the rear side of the smartphone.
As far as camera is concerned, the Dual-SIM smartphone bears a dual camera setup at rear side, which includes 20-megapixel monochrome lens and 12-megapixel RGB sensors along with Leica lens and optical image stabilization facility. The dual camera setup is also paired up with a dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for shooting selfies.
The GSM based handset is backed up by an awesome 4000mAh battery, which is capable of keeping your device awake all day long. Connectivity options of the handset includes GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The device will be available in two storage options- 64GB memory with 4GB RAM, and 128GB memory with 6GB RAM. The 4GB RAM variant will be priced at CNY 4,699 (Rs 46,500 approx) and 6GB RAM variant at CNY 5,299 (Rs 52,500).
