Huawei Nova 2 Lite Launched: Android 8.0, 18:9 Aspect Ratio and Much More

Nova 2 Lite is being offered by Huawei is the company’s latest smartphone recently launched specifically in the Philippines. It is a mid-range smartphone sport a 5.99-inch display along with 18:9 aspect ratio that means the smartphone comes with thin- bezels, 3GB of RAM, and featuring a dual- rear camera setup. The pre-bookings of the smartphone starts only in the Philippines and the deliveries will start from 23 March at PHP 9,990 (roughly Rs. 12,500).

Huawei Nova 2 Lite Specifications:

The Huawei Nova 2 Lite runs on latest operating system Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0. The smartphone has a metal-unibody design and comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display along with the screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels. The smartphone also has an 18:9 aspect ratio that means it bears a bezel-less display. Huawei Nova 2 Lite is embedded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The storage capacity can be further extended up to 128GB with the help of memory card.

Dual-rear camera set up is one of the highlighting features of Huawei Nova 2 Lite. The rear camera comprises 13-megapixel sensors and 2-megapixel sensors.For the selfie snapper, the smartphone bears an 8-megapixel front- facing the camera for video calling and selfies. LED flash is missing on the smartphone. Huawei Nova 2 Lite is said to feature a Face Unlock support.

The company is offering the smartphone in two color options: Black and Blue. It packs a 3000mAh battery under the hood. Huawei Nova 2 Lite features a 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Micro-USB port as connectivity options. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are some of the features of sensors on the board. A fingerprint scanner is positioned below the horizontally aligned dual- rear camera set up on the back panel of the smartphone. The weight of the smartphone is 155 grams and its dimensions are 76.7x158.3x7.8mm

So far, the company has not disclosed any information regarding the global availability of Huawei Nova 2 Lite. The company is currently working on its Huawei P20 series which includes Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 Lite. Leaks, rumors, and teasers have revealed several specifications, price and details of the upcoming smartphones.
