Huawei, Shenzhen based China smartphone manufacturer company has finally launched the much anticipated Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro alongside Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS at an event in Paris on 28th March 2018. The highlights of the smartphone include the triple-lens camera, under- display fingerprint sensor, 512GB internal storage.

The specifications of Porsche Design Mate RS looks similar to the Huawei P20 Pro, but it comes with various improvements such as 6-inch OLED display, 256GB or 512GB internal storage, fast as well as wireless charging. It must be noted that the smartphone does not support memory card.
However, the Porsche Design Mate RS looks very different in terms of design as compared to Huawei P20. The smartphone has a Porsche Design Logo which is located on the bottom bezel while the notch on the top of the display is missing on it.

One of the highlighting features of the Porsche Design Mate RS is that it comes with two fingerprint sensors. The first one is positioned under the display and the second one is centrally positioned on the rear panel below the triple- lens camera.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS runs on latest operating system Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1. It is powered by a Kirin 970 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. It is available in two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB.
The Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS bears a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display along with the screen resolution of 1440x2880 pixels along with 18:9 aspect ratio that means the smartphone has a full-screen display. It is certified with the IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. The body of the smartphone is made up of metal and glass and it is available in Black and Red color option whereas the Red color is exclusively for China.
The Mate RS sport a triple- lens camera setup which includes a combination of 40MP + 8MP + 20MP along with 5x hybrid zoom, 960fps video, AI features and all. Triple lens camera is now positioned centrally on the rear panel of the smartphone. For the selfie snapper, it comes with a 24.8MP front- facing the camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 4,000mAh battery similar to P20 Pro along with Huawei SuperCharge fast charging support, wireless charging, stereo speaker and much more. The remaining specifications of Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design are similar to Huawei P20 Pro.
The 256GB variant of Huawei Porsche Design Mate RS costs at EUR 1,695 (roughly Rs. 1,36,400) whereas 512GB variant costs EUR 2,095 (roughly Rs. 1,68,600). Both of the variants of the smartphone will be available for purchase from 12th April in particular regions.
