The homegrown mobile maker: iBall has announced its brand-new smartphone: Andi 5M Xotic for the marketplace of India and commenced in the segment of budget handset by pricing it at just Rs. 8,199. However, device had seen light of the day in February and already been listed on E-commerce website: eBay, wherefrom it is available to purchase at Rs. 8,950.
Diving into Android 4.4 KitKat-based Andi 5M Xotic, device is loaded with mid-range specs in order to fulfill the desire of price-conscious consumers that crave for decent and affordable smartphones. Well, it is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz and fueled by a 2000mAh battery. In order to take the full advantage of this multitasking processor, gadget houses 2GB RAM in its shell.
In terms of storage, mobile is paired with 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card slot. Glancing at display, it features a 5-inch QHD IPS display that offers a pixel density of 220ppi and pixel resolution of 540x960p.
Coming to imaging front, phone is fitted with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor and dual LED flash and also comprises a 3.2-megapixel selfie snapper. Coupled with dual SIM card slots, handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS/ A-GPS on connectivity front.
Additionally, novel scion of iBall Andi lineup is clubbed with Proximity, Light and G-sensors. During the announcement, Director at corporation: Sandeep Parasrampuria has stated that "We are very pleased to announce the launch of Andi 5M Xotic 2GB. The users are now desiring 2GB RAM with good display and alluring design. Our iBall Xotic fulfills this desire!"
However, firm has made a good attempt to petrify its position in domestic space, but Indian market is not so easy for any handheld to soar. As we know, some leading brands such as Lenovo, Xiaomi, Motorola and Micromax have already dispatched their powerful phones like A6000, Redmi 2, Moto E (Gen 2) and YU Yureka respectively in budget category of native space, which are the biggest rivals of iBall Andi 5M Xotic.
