InFocus M2: The Budget Smartphone with Commendable Specs

Along with a goal to bring a visionary smartphone for Indian consumers, the US-based company: InFocus has commenced an Android KitKat 4.4.2-equipped handset, called M2 in native space. Well, this mobile phone has some alluring aspects as well as it incorporates decent specs even at an affordable value of Rs. 4,999. Here, the Country Head at Corporation: Sachin Thapar has stated that "phone is loaded with superlative features in order to change the rules of game in the Indian smartphone industry."

Talking about the specifications, handheld bears a 4.2-inch LTPS TFT LCD display with multitouch, which offers a pixel resolution of 1280×768p and pixel density of 355ppi. The connectivity option includes, micro-B USB, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G.

Touching the subject of imaging, gadget is fitted with an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera, which comprises some captivating features such as 4x digital zoom, Flash LED, scene setting, white balance, face recognition,  beauty shot and photo enhancer. Here, front panel of device is also clubbed with an 8-megapixel sensor loaded with autofocus and 3x digital zoom functionalities.

This creation of InFocus is fueled by a 2,010mAh Li-Ion Polymer that has been quoted to render 280 hours of standby time and 480 minutes of talk time on 3G network. The dual-SIM supported phone is powered by an 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and housed with Mali-400 GPU.

Coming to memory front, it is armed with 1GB RAM alongside 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable upto 64GB by using a microSD card. Additionally, InFocus M2 assimilates ambient light, proximity, gyroscope and G-sensors. Moreover, handset measures 135mm x 64.5mm x 11.1mm scale and it has a weighing of 145 grams.
