Intex, the homegrown company recently dispatched the budget-friendly smartphone under the name Intex Aqua G2 priced just for INR 1,990. The company has now disclosed another Aqua-series handset dubbed as the Intex Aqua 4.5 Pro. Though the smartphone is now officially listed on the company's website with a price tag of INR 4,190, but still there is no information as to when would the smartphone be made available and one can only expect it to go on sale soon.
In terms of specifications, the Dual-SIM smartphone highlights a 4.5-inch TFT display giving a resolution of 480x854 pixels with additional pixel thickness of 294ppi. As per the official post, the Android handset features a screen-to-body proportion of 62 percent and operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
It sports a 2-megapixel self-adjust (auto-focus) rear camera with dual-LED flash coupled with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of hardware specs, the GSM-based handset is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor clocked at 1.2GHz offering 1GB of RAM. The device further sports 8GB of built-in storage that can easily be expanded up to 32GB by using external microSD card.
The device houses a 1500mAh battery which as per company claims can deliver up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 300 hours of standby time. On the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua 4.5 Pro smartphone offers GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot feature, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS. Additionally, the device comes preloaded with several applications, for example, Matrabhasa, 360 Security, OLX, Freecharge, Saavn, Newshunt, Opera little, Follo, Hike and Messenger that would surely enhance the overall experience of a user.
One must recall that Intex recently revealed its Aqua G2 cell phone in India targeting the first-time smartphone users. The Dual-SIM Aqua G2 smartphone supports 2G connectivity and features a 2.8-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 240x320 pixels. The handset runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and packs an 1100mAh battery.
