Intex Aqua Play launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop at Rs. 3,249

Intex has unveiled its budget series smartphone as Intex Aqua Play at Rs. 3,249. The smartphone has been listed on the company site for the official launch with the price and availability over the channels. The device will go on sale within few days.

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It features 4-inch TFT display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution. The major highlight of the device is its software front that has the most brighten platform to run the apps smoothly. It has three color variants as Black, Blue and White. The device grabs the power from 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek (MTK6572W) processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. It has housed 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

At the snapper’s edge, the device sports 0.3-megapixel front and rear cameras, where the rear panel is accompanied with LED flash. The connectivity front has GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS explorable options. It packs 1400mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. The smartphone comes hitched with pre-installed apps like Cleanmaster, NewsHunt, Quikr, Opera mini, and Matrabhasa.

Intex has also launched Aqua Life III priced at Rs. 5,199, after Aqua Life and Aqua Life II. Earlier it has unveiled Intex Cloud Swift at Rs. 8,888 exclusively on Snapdeal with 1-year screen breakage warranty. More smartphones are expected by the company with time. No announcements have been floored down for the flagship devices, but the company will not stop performing well in the tech market.
