Intex is known as one of those companies in the country that manufacture budget-friendly smartphones on a regular basis. However, as is said, anything can happen anytime and it looks like this time the company has surprised the Indian users by providing one of the features known to come only in the high-end smartphones. The home based company has now brought forward a brand new budget-friendly Android smartphone that as per company claims is one of the cheapest smartphone with a fingerprint sensor imbibed into it.
The new gadget known by the name of Intex Aqua S2 has been priced at Rs 4,490 and as per reports will be made available in three color variants namely Champagne, White and Gray. Taking cues from other high-end smartphones, the company has kept the position of the fingerprint sensor in the smartphone in the center just below the back camera.
On the software front, the device operates on Android Marshmallow OS v6.0 right out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch display. The display gives a resolution of 480x584 pixels. The GSM-handset under the hood gets powered by a 32-bit quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

On the memory front, the new Intex Aqua S2 offers an inbuilt storage of 8GB, which is expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash alongside the 5-megapixel camera on the front side again with a LED flash allowing users to take selfies easily. Last but not the least, in terms of connectivity, the phone provides options like 3G connectivity, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Intex Aqua S2 houses a battery capacity of 2450mAh, which as per claims can easily deliver up to 5 hours of talk-time. Physically, the smartphone measures 146.4x73.0x9.65mm and carries a weight of 153.8 grams.
