Karbonn has launched three smart phones Titanium Octane, Octane Plus and Hexa

Karbonn has unloaded its new Android smartphones in Indian market, the Karbonn Titanium Octane, Titanium Octane Plus and Titanium Hexa with affordable price range of Rs. 14,490, Rs. 17,990 and Rs. 16,990. These phones have dual sim slots with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.

The Karbonn Titanium Octane adds new features of 5-inch IPS display and a 1.7 GHz octa-core Media Tek MT6592 processor with 1 GB RAM.  It features a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera. Battery is powered by 2000 mAh. Internal storage of 16 GB that is expandable via micro SD card up to 32 GB.

Titanium Octane includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3G (HSPA+), and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone noticeable dimensions are 145.7x71.2x7.9mm but its weight is not revealed yet.

The Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus comes with a 5-inch full-HD IPS display and runs on the 1.7 GHz Media Tek MT6592 octa-core processor with 2 GB RAM. It adds the characters of 16 MP Autofocus rear camera with an 8 MP front facing camera. This phone is powered by 2000mAh battery as same as the Titanium Octane. Octane Plus features 16GB in-built memory which is expandable up to 32 GB.

For the connectivity engines, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with GPS, 3G (HSPA+), and Bluetooth 4.0 are available. Dimensionally it is 145.7x71.2x7.9mm and weight wise it is not measured.

The third phone is Karbonn Titanium Hexa with a 5.5-inch full HD LTPS display which is larger than Octane series. This phone is powered by 1.5 GHz hexa-core Media Tek MT6591 processor with 2 GB RAM. Hexa bears a 13 MP rear autofocus camera with flash and 5 MP front facing camera. It is enhanced with 16 GB built in memory that is expandable up to 32 GB. Battery is quite better with 2050 mAh.

Titanium Hexa advances with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, 3G (HSPA+) and Bluetooth 4.0. This phone measures 145.7x71.2x7.9mm. But its weight has not been calculated.

Finbarr Moynihan, MediaTek's General Manager of International Sales and Marketing, at the launch event in New Delhi said, "The target for our companies is much aligned. A shared mission of 'Everyday Genius', and enabling the growth of the 'super-mid' market. The shift in the middle class - literally billions of people - is going to be heavily concentrated in Asia. The spending power from 2009 has grown exponentially."
