Karbonn has unveiled a new entry level affordable smartphone, dubbed as K9 smart. The smartphone is now available at retail stores at a price tag of Rs.3,990.
The company is introducing the smartphone with support oif 21 Indian regional languages, which is the highlightning feature of this device. The company include with its latest K9 handset is targeting non-English speaking audience. The handset is preloaded with apps such as Cricbuzz, which will offers commentary and live updates in 6 Indian languages and Newshunt, which will offer news and magzines in 11 Indian languages.
In terms of specifications, The dual SIM based smartphone is featuring a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480*854 pixels . On the software front, the device is running on Android 4.4 based KitKat operating system. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. The device has the internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.
On the camera section, the device is loaded with an 3.2 megapixel camera at the rear end while 1.3 megapixel frontr facing camera on the board. It is backed by 2300mAh battery and comes with sport of 3G. For the connectivity, the smartphone includes GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.
