Lava Launched Iris Fuel F2 Smartphone At 4,444 INR

Lava, the Indian smartphone manufacturing firm has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Iris Fuel F2. It is the successor of its previously launched Fuel F1 smartphone. The smartphone will be available to buy via the e-commerce website, however the company is yet to officially launch the smartphone in India. The Lava Fuel F1, which was launched in October last year with a price tag of Rs. 8,700.

The dual SIM based mobile is featuring a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480*854 pixels and offers a pixel density of 196ppi. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 512MB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box.

On the storage end, the Lava Iris Fuel 2 houses a 8GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. At the camera department, it is loaded with 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash light along with 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera.

For the connectivity, the smartphone includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1, FM radio, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 3000mAh Li-po battery, which can be said as the smartphone's USP in the given price tag. The Fuel F2 is backed by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery, which is rated to deliver up to 15.5 hours talk time in 3G connectivity and 300 hours of standby time on both SIM cards. It is measuring a 142.5*72.5*10.5mm and will be available in Black and White color variants.
