Lava Unveiled P7 Smartphone With 5-Inch Display At INR 5,499

The home grown mobile manufacturer Lava has cast a new entry-level affordable smartphone dubbed as Lava P7. The model will be available for purchase on online retail stores, physical mobile retail stores and multi-brand stores. The smartphone is hanged with a price tag of Rs.5,499.

The device sports dual 3G SIMs having dual standby functionality. The handset is tipped with 5-inch FWVGA display having an resolution of 480x854 pixels. For the protection of the handset, it is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass. On the software front, the device runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop OS. Although company commits to provide the upgradation to Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor holding a memory of 1GB of RAM. Internally P7 is stuffed with 8GB of on board storage, which can also be further expandable up to 32GB via microSd card slot expansion.

On the photography section, the Lava P7 bears an 5MP camera at the rear end with LED Flash and a 2MP front camera for selfies and video calls. For your young child, the snapper offers a special feature called as 'Child Mode' including the different sounds like chuckles, bell sound, cat sound, etc. that helps in capturing the attention of the child and then clicking the photos when the face of the adolescent is recognized. The shooter encloses Live Photo, Panorama, Voice Capture, and Face Beauty with HD video recording in it.

In terms of battery backup the phone is assembled with a battery backup of 2000mAh, which is rated to deliver up to 20hours of the regular time. For the copnnectivity, the Lava P7 includes 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/EDGE and Micro-USB.

The gadget is equipped with a Google Indic keyboard, which supports 12 different Indian languages. In addition to this it also includes multiple features like Multi-Point Touch, Custom & Drawing Gestures and Smart Wake-up. The widget is obtainable in three color variants, i.e. Blue, White and Gold.
