Lava, the India-based smartphone manufacturing firm has launched its new smartphone in India dubbed as Lava V5. The smartphone will be exclusively available on online retail store eBay India, physical retail stores and multi-brand outlets at a price tag of Rs. 11,499.
The main USP (Unique Selling Point) of the smartphone is its camera section, which is loaded with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end and 8 megapixel of camera at the front end on the board. The camera is also featuring a PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), f2.0 aperture, 5P large lens Blue glass filter and a dual LED flashlight.
Lava V5 is featuring a 5.5-inch HD IPS display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. It is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection from scratches. The device is operated on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system and runs the company's proprietary Star OS 2.0 and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
On the storage end, the device has the native storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. It also includes OTG support. For the connectivity, the handset includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Glonass, and Micro-USB and VoLTE support. It is backed by a 3000, which are enabled by Super Power Saving mode for extended battery life.
